ToolNest Hub ("the app", "we", "us", or "our") is an everyday utility application that provides tools for scanning, document and image processing, calculations, notes, recording, conversion, QR and barcode functions, compass and location-related photos.
This Privacy Policy applies to the following ToolNest Hub tools:
ToolNest Hub accesses information or device resources only when needed to provide a feature you choose to use. Depending on the feature and your device settings, this may include camera input, photos or files you select, microphone input, location information for location-related features, text or calculations you enter, and locally stored app data.
We do not sell your personal information.
QR Scanner, PDF Scanner, Barcode Scanner, OCR, Image to PDF, and related document or image features may require camera access or access to photos and files that you select. These resources are used to provide the requested functionality.
The Location Photo feature may use your device's location information when you choose to use location-related functionality. Location access can be controlled through your Android device settings. If location access is not granted, location-dependent features may not work.
Voice Recorder may access your device microphone when you choose to record audio. Recordings are created at your request and are handled according to the app's storage and sharing functionality.
OCR may process an image or document to extract text. Depending on the app implementation and device capabilities, processing may occur on the device or through a service required to provide the feature.
Calculator, Age Calculator, Smart Calculators, and Unit Converter process the values you enter to provide calculations or conversions. These tools do not require personal information simply to perform calculations.
QR Generator uses the information you enter to create a QR code. The QR Scanner and Barcode Scanner use camera or selected-image input when required to scan codes. Information entered for QR generation is used to provide the requested result.
Notes, generated documents, recordings, scan history, preferences, and other working data may be stored on your device, depending on the feature. You can manage or delete locally stored content using the app or your device's storage controls where supported.
If a ToolNest Hub feature requires an online service or account, the minimum information necessary to provide that feature may be processed by the relevant service. We do not request sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for a feature and clearly communicated to you.
The app may use third-party services for functions such as cloud storage, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, or other app infrastructure. Such services may process limited technical or account information as necessary to provide their services. Their handling of information is governed by their respective privacy policies.
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the app. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
ToolNest Hub is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of identifying them.
You can control Android permissions through your device settings. You may choose not to use features that require camera, microphone, location, photos, files, or other permissions. Depending on the feature, withdrawing a permission may prevent that feature from working.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, services, or applicable requirements change. The updated policy will be posted at this webpage with a revised "Last updated" date.
